I thought it about time I left a public message here to tell all of my pleasurable dealings with Nick and Jean. They have attended to the works carried out on my MGZTT260/ (400) with the utmost attention to every single detail, sometimes over and above the remit of the works required, I had so much confidence in there workmanship I entrusted the fitting of my Kenne and Bell S/C to them, an immaculate piece of work, and considered so by others who have had there's fitted else where. I use my car everyday up and down motorways and KNOW that my car is in tip top form, something sadly other garages have not left me with. In essence probably the best garage I have come across. I know my car is in the best hands with them. Martin (a Very happy motorist)

Nick & Jean thank you very much for the work you did yesterday on our 75 tourer. You quickly diagnosed the fault as the cam sensor & went on to find the maf sensor reading was out & came to the rescue with both items from stock. I have always wondered why this cars performance has always felt lacking compared to our 75 saloon, but not any more. It drove with much more determination on the way home just like our saloon. Thanks once again for the hospitality & banter its always great to talk to you both. THANKS

Nick looks after my ZT190 and my 260; the level of service and the attention to detail is second to none. Would never dream of taking my prize MGs anywhere else now they have had Nick's care lavished on them. Thanks for always doing great work. :-)

Thanks Nick and Jean, I wish I had discovered Austin Garages sooner, why isn't every business like this ! There's expertise, customer service, and good humour here unmatched in my experience. What Nick doesn't know about the 75/ZT isn't worth knowing, and on my first visit his keen eye spotted some rather dodgy previous work on my ZT CDTI. Now, after a full service and some very thorough rectification work the car drives like new. I look forward to my next visit later in the month, to replace the faulty thermostat, knowing that my car is in good hands, and the that kettle will be on !
keep up the good work !

I left my Rover 75 with Nick and Jean while I was away, Nick was really helpful as while undertaking the listed jobs he found other problems on the vehicle. Nick called me to check I wanted the work carrying out before preceding... the car is now a dream to drive again, many thanks to you both, Rob. MG57!

Took my MGF for its annual service last week. It had the big service last year (cambelts/waterpump et), so only needed the smaller service this time. Nick was his usual enthusiastic and informative self, and after a couple of small upgrades to the interior lighting and the service complete, it sailed through its MOT the following day. It is always an absolute pleasure going to see Nick and Jean, and although i live some distance away, would only ever trust Nick to work on the car.
Many thanks, and look forward to seeing you again in 2012.

After breaking down on holiday in our 75 tourer and having to be towed home with caravan, the car was investigated by several "experts" who eventually pinpointed the immobilisation ECU. Then a stroke of luck, I found Austin Garages on tinternet. I phoned Nick and explained our predicament, 5 mins. later I was feeling much more positive after he had described how the ECU was probably water damaged by a leaking sun roof drain. After delivering the ECU to Nick he was able to repair it at nominal cost. Upon refitting, car started again at last, but a mislock situation had developed. Nick came to the rescue again talking me through a minor wiring mod. now all is well. A very big THANKYOU then to Nick and Jean, your Austin Garages phone number will always travel with us from now on!

Hi Nick and Jean

Just wanted to say a big thank you for your recent help and advice and also the great job you did servicing my MGTF. It runs like a dream now you have tuned everything up. The new speakers also sound great. Like your other customers say, it makes a difference to find a garage where the people looking after your pride and joy have the same passion and actually know what they are talking about. You should both be very proud - great customer service and value for money. Will be back again and will certainly recommend you to other MG owners.

In my 23 years of motoring I have never encountered a Garage like this, Austin Garages actually CARE about MG/ROVER cars, and more importantly their owners! They have true passion, commitment, and dedication to ensure that every last little detail of a repair is carried out to exceed original MG/ROVER standards and specifications, taking time to explain everything that has been done to your vehicle so you have total confidence it has been repaired to the highest imaginable standard! I have had the head gasket and several other issues with my MGTF repaired absolutely flawlessly, and this is the sole occasion that I have actually been happy to part with my money to have my car repaired!! Thank you so much Nick, and I will trust my car to no one else but you in the future!!! Simon Horsley

Thanks again for the work you did today. The car felt a lot taughter on the way home, the steering has lost that slightly vague feeling it had & rides the bumps without any clunking, well done. Although the bill came to a fair amount just before our holiday I feel you give excellent value for money & a fantastic level of service & attention to detail that I would encourage anyone to try. Thanks

Hi
Not been to the garage in question but work for an ex mg rover garage and with many of the original techs now left here for pastures new I feel it might well be worth the trip to see you guys with my ZT. Great to see such passion for the MG Rover marque and a good website too. Oozes love of the Longbridge products. Problem is you might have to actually kick me out the door come the end of the day.
Hope to see you in the not too distant future.

Just cant keep away! Only a couple of weeks after Nick did Stephen's Rover I was back with my Land Rover Freelander. Intermittent staring problem had foxed may online "experts", Nick put the T4 analyser on it, found no recorded faults but persevered. Immobilisor, fuel pump, injectors, all in full working order, still he dug deeper, finally discovered camshaft sensor not fully functioning!
New one will be in asap, spent best part of an hour on it, including investigating non functioning air con, charged just £21!!!
Nick and Jean, you are a star pair, all the very best on your run to Rome

My son had a head gasket job done elsewher on his Rover 75 but it still ran rough, even after they had looked at it agin. Nic diagnosed the problem over the phone before we arrived, the belt was a tooth out! The journey home was a delight, silky smooth and bags of power. He even added day time running lights while the car was on diagnostic.
Second time we have been, 1st time he installed a full leather trim we provided and he even made up a loom to power the seats. Theres not much Nic doesn't know about Rovers and it is a pleasure to deal with him. All our cars will go to him from now on. Thanks again from Steve and Chris

This is the second comment I've left on Austin Garages site. I called in today for an emergency repair and Nick took about five nano seconds to find/fix the fault. Great Hospitality from Nick and Jean today. This is the first time that i have been to Nick for any work on my 260, and without doubt, its the best attention and service i have ever experienced at any garage for many years.A real pleasure to do business with, and Nick was more than happy to talk me through all that he was doing.
After leaving home at 5-45am this morning to cover the 130 miles, I can honestly say it was well worth the trip and will certainly be returning for all future work on the car as well as my MGF. Great service, great value and a must if you own a Rover/MG.

The correct ones are on their way.It is well worth the round trip from Brackley everytime. I know the ZR will be sweet on it's return,

Thanks for great hospitality, service and a superb job done fixing my gear selection problem. The cost effective solution of fixing the master cylinder was so much more palatable than the new clutch and slave cylinder that the MG/Rover dealer suggested!

Even though its a bit of a trek from Milton Keynes I'll certainly be back in the future.
